Any organization acting in a not-for-profit manner, whether tax exempt or not, is eligible to be a Nittany Co-Op Member. Some common areas our membership encompasses are; athletics, arts & culture, community service, education, environment, faith-based, Greek, leisure & recreation, retirement, professional, veteran, youth and many more.
And there’s No COST to being a Member!!!
As a non-profit cooperative, our primary goal is to help fellow non-profit organizations reduce their operational expenses enabling them to utilize their resources to execute their own missions. By bringing individuals, various groups and local businesses together, we can build a successful cooperative community.
In becoming a Member though, it is more of a personal process as we are establishing a line of credit for your organization as well as starting a relationship that can be strengthened with each successive transition of officers. We want to learn more about how we can be of assistance as well as share the best practices we have developed on a wide range of goods and services.

- Agree to terms in the Member Organization Agreement.

Either email a signed agreement to firstname.lastname@example.org or bring it with you when meeting with Co-Op staff as mentioned next.
- Schedule a time (30-45 minutes) for organization officers to meet with Co-Op Director and Controller who will handle the following:
Learn what all can be offered and share what areas your organization is looking for assistance with
Explain in more detail how the purchasing aspects work including discounts, authorized purchasers and bill payments
Fill out officer contact form
Setup officers with Purchasing Cards and authorized purchasing capabilities
Setup and educate officers on the online viewing platform for statements and invoices
Provide any initial resources and assistance needed
